Hi y’all!
My name is Annike Zee:) I am a 21 years old going to college at Texas State University. I love languages and culture so I am hoping to teach languages to refugees and missionaries in the future. Currently I speak Spanish, English, French and Mandarin Chinese. I love spending time with my friends, watching movies and dancing. I tend to rewatch movies to the point of memorization such as Shreck and Aquamarine. I was born and raised in Mexico, but those country two step dances made me Texan. I also enjoy bachata (which is Hispanic dancing) and Hip-Hop.
Even though I grew up in a Christian household, I didn’t start following God until I was 16. I can say He has shown me how beautiful He intended life to be. He has surrounded me with an amazing community at home and anywhere I go. During the school year I serve as a worship, prayer and bible study leader which is so sweet. On my next blog, I will tell you about why I am going on this mission trip.
