Getting to Indonesia was a journey. We left and spent the night at the Atlanta airport, although most of us did not sleep at all. At about 7am, we boarded and landed in Boston a couple of hours later. During our 10 hour layover, we got to visit a couple of different places. Upon our return, we headed to Qatar. Surprisingly, that was the best flight! I was seated all the way at the back with my friends Frankie and Payton. We had chicken curry for one of the meals and I slept about 9/12 hours. We looked around the Qatar airport for an hour before watching the sunset before we boarded for a 7 hour flight to Thailand. While in the airport, we saw a traditional performance and ate McDonald’s for the second time. Then we flew to Singapore. That airport was connected to a mall which has that famous waterfall. I paid $5 and finally showered! My friend Quin paid for our McDonald’s dinner and we slept in the airport. At 7am we headed for our ferry to Indonesia which was beautiful!
It was a long journey, but we made it and met our lovely hosts who are all from Brazil!
